Global ET Power Control Unit (SIMPCU) Module Graphic PROBLEM: Conventional battery charging systems are suitable for aqueous batteries chemistries such as Lead-Acid. However, today's high performance batteries, such as Li-Ion, demand much tighter control not only on electrical properties but more importantly thermal properties.

 

SOLUTION: A SIMPCU configured to provide closed loop thermal feedback battery charging. With the SIMPCU's dual channel function, two different battery chemistries can be charged with a single device. The SIMPCU's external precise temperature sensing capability provides the necessary feedback to properly manage battery charging. This makes the SIMPCU ideal for your custom battery management algorithm.
