PROBLEM: Microgrids are
vulnerable to large disturbances when heavy loads or
sources are brought online.
SOLUTION: A network of managed SIMPCUs configured for load
management. The SIMPCUs can be managed by the
SIMPMC to
reconstitute heavy loads in a specific sequence in
order to reduce severe electrical stress. This
point-of-load control essentially "stiffens" the
Microgrid improving stability and reliability.
