What platform can run the SIMPMA?
The SIMPMA has been designed for embedded controllers for
vehicular applications. However, in most cases, it is
hardware independent and can run on computers from laptops
to servers.
What hardware is required for
the SIMPMA?
The SIMPMA requires an x86
computer with a CAN interface. Other network interfaces,
such as Ethernet, are required for extended communication
functionality.
Can the SIMPMA be integrated
with other software?
Yes! Global ET can easily adapt
or customize the SIMPMA to interoperate with other software
systems. We run our HEV test vehicles from a SQL Server
database.
Can the SIMPMA also run from
this database?
Yes! The SIMPMA has been
designed with data in mind. It stores it operating
parameters and performance metrics in a database format and
can easily connect to other databases.
Does the SIMPMA require a
display, keyboard and mouse?
No! The SIMPMA can run as a
“headless” embedded controller application. Remote access
can be achieved through web browser interface. |
