Global ET SIM Remote IO (SIMRIO) Module Graphic PROBLEM: Conventional fuel cell Balance-of-Plant and stack components are fixed wired to the fuel cell processor (i.e. SIMPMC). This connectivity is limited in modularity and flexibility due to rigid wiring, signal conditioning, and interconnections.

 

SOLUTION: The SIMRIO can interface the subsystem components allowing for CAN based local monitoring and control. This would increase flexibility and scalability while reducing noise susceptibility and installation wiring.
